𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐨!

At the first international meeting of the I4EUFITMOS project, funded by the EU Erasmus+ Sport program, held last Friday in Thessaloniki, the representatives of the partner organizations, among other decisions, adopted a new project logo. Out of the several proposed designs, the attendees unanimously selected this one for its connection to the previous EUFITMOS project logo and its simplicity. Attached are two versions of the logo, with different colors. — 𝘍𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯. First international project meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece

On friday, February 28th, 2025, the first international project meeting took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, bringing together representatives of all partner organizations involved in the project. Following the opening address, each partner introduced their organization and the experts participating in the project. This was followed by a review of the work completed so far, with a focus on project management, needs analysis, dissemination, and communication. In the next part of the meeting, partners developed a dissemination plan and a quality assurance plan for the project’s implementation. Discussions also took place regarding the organization of multiplier sports events, which will be held in all partner countries. The meeting concluded with the coordination of next steps and tasks to ensure the project’s successful implementation, followed by an enjoyable networking lunch.

Field-Based Health-Related Physical Fitness Tests in Children and Adolescents

Physical fitness is a state of being that reflects a person’s ability to perform specific exercises or functions and is closely related to present and future health outcomes.
In a school context, tests are being used as institutional fitness assessment tools, educational tools to teach youth and their families about the importance of physical fitness, and as communication tools to guide individuals on attainable goals for maintaining fitness and health.
