EUFITMOS fitness testing protocol
The monitoring of physical fitness of adolescents is important because it reflects the impact of genetic and environmental factors on health indicators. Based on the physical fitness level of children, pedagogical, and public health strategies and policies can be developed. In this sense, it is necessary to have a battery of validated fitness tests, capable of assessing physical fitness to obtain data that allow us to determine the level of health and at the same time establishcomparisons between.
SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
TRENDS IN PHYSICAL FITNESS AMONG SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
During the initial phase of the Erasmus+ project European Fitness Monitoring System (EUFITMOS), a systematic review was performed, to analyse the international evolution of fitness with its distributional changes in the performance on tests of physical fitness among school-aged children and adolescents.

SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
Promoting health-related cardiorespiratory fitness in physical education
This systematic review has two principal objec- tives: to summarize findings from scientific lit- erature on the contribution of physical exercise (PE) classes for improving cardiorespiratory fit- ness (CRF) in children and adolescents and, con- sequently, to define potentially relevant factors for promoting CRF in PE classes.
